No. There are many types of filtration technologies and removing these from drinking water requires a different type of technology than the one that has been developed for the Aarke Purifier and Filter Refills.
Herbicides, pesticides and PFAS may be reduced by the activated carbon in the granules. However, the Purifier and the Filter Granules ability to reduce/remove these substances depends on the condition of the inlet water, which varies a lot in different houses and cities etc, and the substance of herbicides and pesticides.
Therefore we can not generally define how much these substances may be reduced.
No, the Aarke filter granules are produced according to the highest quality standards and do not contain any harmful substances (SVHC).
The safety, hygiene and compliance of all materials are strictly tested and controlled by independent institutes. In our granules we use a mixture consisting of granulated activated carbon and ion exchange resin.
